NCERT has announced the date for National
Talent Search Exam (NTSE Papers) for class 10 students providing scholarships for
the year 2014. The important dates for NTSE exam (1st Level) are as
mentioned below:

2. Date
of NTSE (1st Level) Examination: 17th November 2013
The pattern of NTSE exam 2013 is
as follows:
1.
Mental Ability Test (MAT)
2.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) – It also
includes language comprehensive test
NTSE
exam is conducted only for class 10 students since 2012. On the basis of
this exam, 1000 scholarships will be awarded with an amount of Rs. 500/- per
month. 15% of the scholarship will be reserved for students belonging to SC,
7.5% scholarships for ST and 3% for physically handicapped students. Those who
clear the stage 1 written NTSE exam will only be eligible for stage 2 NTSE
exam.
